Peer Review Policy

The Journal of Civil Engineering and Architecture is a refereed journal. All research articles undergo rigorous peer review, including initial editor screening and anonymous review by at least two referees.

1. Manuscripts should be original and must not have been published previously. Material currently under consideration by another journal should not be submitted.

2. Manuscripts should normally be 3,000–8,000 words, including the abstract, text, tables, footnotes, appendices, and references. Longer manuscripts may be accepted with the Editor’s approval. The title should appear on page 1 and should not exceed 15 words. It should be followed by an abstract of 100–200 words and 3–5 keywords or key phrases.

3. Manuscripts should be submitted in MS Word format as an email attachment to the journal’s email address.

4. Authors of accepted articles are required to sign the Transfer of Copyright Agreement form.

5. Authors will receive two hard copies of the issue containing their article.

6. Authors are required to pay a publication fee for papers published both online and in hard copy. Fee details are available from the editorial office.
