Business English writing instruction faces persistent challenges in fostering audience awareness, critical thinking, and timely feedback. Generative artificial intelligence (AI) offers transformative potential. This pedagogical inquiry examines AI’s multifaceted roles as diagnostic tool, simulated reader, and feedback provider. It argues that effective integration depends on a human-AI synergy model, where teachers evolve from content deliverers to learning designers, guiding students to develop strategic communication competence essential for the modern workplace.
