Compared with other types of corpus, the current research on interpretation corpus lags behind due to its particularities. This paper discusses the construction of English‑Chinese (E‑C) interpreting corpus integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) speech recognition technology, so as to propose its construction steps and processes. And it further studies the prospects of its applications which includes its functions from three aspects: intelligent platform for interpretation, intelligent interpretation teaching, and quality assessment, providing new objects, new perspectives, and new approaches for the study of Chinese interpreting corpus.
