ABSTRACT

The present study investigates the adoption and impact of electronic government on the Public Administration of Greece. Specifically, it examines the operation and contribution of e-government in relation to the values of New Public Management (NPM) which it reinforces, as well as its impact on the administrative restructuring of the Greek/Hellenic Public Administration within the framework of the application of Administrative Law. Concurrently, the main obstacles to its implementation are presented, and methods to address them through existing legislation are proposed.
