ABSTRACT

This study introduces the individualism-collectivism dimension of the cultural dimension of cross-cultural communicationinitiated by Geert Hofstede. Different cultures must develop a way of correlating that strikes a balance between caring for themselves and showing concern for others. Individualist culture encourages uniqueness and independencewhile collectivist culture emphasizes conformity and mutual assistance. This article introduces how to use case analysis method to effectively carry out classroom teaching in this cultural dimension.
