Although the English teachers in China have been laying stress on the grammar teaching over the years, the teaching effect is not ideal, reflecting in the situation that students are confused the similar grammatical points and unable to memorize as well as understand them clearly. Wang Yin advanced the Embodied-Cognitive Linguistics, and much work was made on this respect. The thesis aims at tracing the development of the study, combined with the relevant theories, and summarizing as well as proposing the several suggestions, in order to turn the English grammar teaching from the angle of description into interpretation.
