ABSTRACT
It
has been a long argument about the efficiency of non-formal education (NFE)
regarding the plan to achieve education for all (EFA). It is undeniable that
formal schooling plays the main roles to increase the primary education rate
and is often believed to be the most effective method to achieve universal primary
school. However, NFE becomes a vital part of education system to the population
that is neglected by the education, then look at NFE practices in developing
countries, and finally, review the situation in Vietnam.
