ABSTRACT

This paper, adopting the French Influential Approach, investigates the influence of the English version of Sino-Japanese poetry on the British-American Imagist Movement and finds that the influence existed in several aspects such as subject, style, syntax, meter, and aesthetics, which highlight the impact of translation on intercultural communication.
