ABSTRACT
SPOC (Small Private Online Course) in the post-MOOC
(Massive Open Online Course) era, with its characteristics of flexibility,
teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, optimization of teaching
resources, and full care of students, shows its strong advantages. The use of
SPOC platform has brought about a series of changes to the teaching of American
literature, which is reflected in students’ participation, teaching methods,
teaching contents, etc. The optimization of teaching design needs to strengthen
deep learning and realize the deep integration of online and offline teaching.
